Second Florida Woman Arrested in Relation to Fatal Shooting During Facebook Live Stream

Lauren Martin was shot dead, and Lakevia Pringle, 31, and her girlfriend, Savon Tyler, 35, are accused of first-degree premeditated murder.

Florida police have charged a second lady about a fatal gunshot that was caught on Facebook Live.

After turning herself into Sanford police on a first-degree premeditated murder allegation, 31-year-old Lakevia Pringle was arrested on Friday.

She is charged with filming the Facebook broadcast that eventually revealed 34-year-old Lauren Martin was shot and killed on November 5.

Savon Tyler, 35, Pringle’s girlfriend, was arrested on Tuesday and charged with the same crime after allegedly fighting and murdering Martin.

“While live streaming [sic], Pringle can be heard encouraging Tyler to continue the altercation, which led to the homicide of Lauren,” Sanford police said to Facebook.

A person in the live stream can be heard ordering Tyler to “Fire her a– up!” according to a redacted police report that FOX 35 Orlando saw.

After reviewing the footage and additional evidence, the Seminole County State Attorney’s office issued a warrant for Pringle’s arrest. Additionally, according to Sanford police, Pringle refused to comply during “multiple attempts” to speak with her.

According to the police, Martin drove to Tyler’s house because of a continuing quarrel.

According to court documents obtained by local publication WESH, Tyler armed herself with a “9mm sky [sic] handgun” and a “children’s miniature baseball bat” when she spotted Martin at her home.

According to the publication, Martin was shot after a brawl broke out after the two ladies fought for a short while in the middle of the road.

On a GoFundMe page, Martin’s family stated that she leaves behind three children.

“She leaves behind three lovely children, but we find solace in the knowledge that she is at peace. In addition to grieving this terrible loss, we are also preparing for her children’s new normal,” the campaign stated.
