For country music singer Bailey Zimmerman, a shirt is not a barrier.
Last week, the “Hell or High Water” crooner—who was opening for Morgan Wallen on his “One Night at a Time Tour” in Sin City—was compelled to take off his top in response to jeers from the crowd.
Zimmerman made light of himself on social media by posting a fan’s video of the moment he discovered the audience wasn’t exactly in favor of his choice to flaunt the NFL team’s attire. Zimmerman had taken the stage wearing a Las Vegas Raiders shirt.
The TikTok video shows the country artist performing while being jeered by the audience. The audience roared as a bewildered Zimmerman gestured to his shirt and gave a thumbs down.
He addressed the audience, “You guys want me to take it off, or what?” as he took off his shirt.
The spectators loved it when the 24-year-old performed shirtless for the remainder of his set.
On Zimmerman’s Instagram, an admirer said, “You’re the man for continuing on.” “That ain’t easy.”
“It was extremely beautifully handled by you! “Just the shirt, we weren’t booing you at all,” a more person clarified. “The Raiders are not truly a local team; they are a relatively new franchise in Vegas. Wear a Vegas Golden Knights hockey jersey the next time you’re in Vegas, and the crowd will go wild.”
A representative for Zimmerman didn’t immediately respond to Fox News Digital’s request for comment.
Regarding the event, Pearce told People magazine, “You can’t be mean to people and expect them to tolerate it.” “Especially as women, we’re conditioned to kind of just take it, and I want that stigma to go away because we deserve to be able to stand up for ourselves.”
“People should be more polite. “Maybe people could be a little more considerate and deliberate before speaking,” she said. Zimmerman is not the only country music celebrity who has encountered an unclear clamor from the audience while performing.
At the recent WE Fest in Detroit Lakes, Minnesota, Carly Pearce called out an impolite fan before ejecting him from the premises.
A video that was shared with X showed the man being led off the Soo Pass Ranch, where the event was taking place, during the intense argument.
Pearce said, “Get out of my show,” and pointed straight at the audience member. “If you’re gonna be an a–hole, you’re gonna have to say it to me and get the f— out of my show.”
She roared, “I do not have time for d—s,” from the audience. “See you later!”
When Fox News Digital asked a representative for Pearce to comment on what precipitated the confrontation, the representative did not reply. On social media, a number of people stated that Pearce was discussing her story with the audience when a man yelled, “No one cares.”
