Most of Apple’s revenue is generated through the iPhone, which has lately become a pain point. In May, Apple recorded the biggest cut in iPhone sales since the peak of the pandemic-related manufacturing delays at the business after the tech giant presented a sharp quarterly decline in the sales of the iPhone device.

It is attempting to shore up its finances with these latest releases, which also include more details about its Apple Intelligence effort, and to show customers that it, too, is investing heavily in AI.

Most of the products will be available starting September 20. Here’s a rundown of all the products Apple announced on Monday:

It said new phones boast improved camera settings, a larger battery, new colours, and a faster processor. The iPhone 16 models represent the first iPhones manufactured specifically for Apple Intelligence, its AI technology. According to Apple, the 6.9-inch display of the iPhone 16 Pro Max is the largest to date.

Preorders for the phones will open on Friday and will be on sale on September 20.

Apple says that with the physical camera control button on the side of the phone, users can open the camera, snap a photo, and start recording with a single click.

With Apple, users can press and hold the camera button to point the camera at a dog to learn its breed or snap a picture of a restaurant to get information.

The company claims the 16 Pro also enables better audio recording capabilities and 4K quality video recording at 120 frames per second.

Regarding AI races, Apple usually comes in slow, especially when pitted against competitors like OpenAI, Google, and Microsoft.

The iPhone 16 models now have what the company calls Apple Intelligence.

According to Apple, AI technologies will enable this thanks to the integration of ChatGPT with Siri and Writing Tools for rewriting, grammar correction, and summarizing messages, notes, and emails.

With AI features, users may edit old photos, create AI pictures on their own, or use a description to find a difficult-to-find image in an album.

It will then debut with iOS 18.1, iPadOS 18.1 and macOS Sequoia 15.1 next month, in U.S. English alone. Other features will be rolled in over time.

Apple Watch and AirPods

It’s been close to a decade since Apple launched its first version of its wristwatch. Today, the company unveiled the latest and thinnest model of the device on Monday. According to the company, it also has the largest display ever. This includes the Apple Watch Series 10.

The Company has also revealed two models of AirPods; the AirPods 4 and the AirPods 4 with “active noise cancellation” promising a more comfortable design.

Other AirPods Max features include a USB-C charging port and more colour options.

It’s really the debut of the $249 AirPods Pro 2 that has people super stoked: a first “end-to-end hearing health experience.”
